Joe Biden appeared bewildered when asked on Friday about the needs of states affected by Hurricane Helene, responding, âOh, storm zone? I donât know which storm youâre talking about. They are getting what they need, and they are very happy across the board.â Ironically, these comments came during his visit to areas severely impacted by Helene, the second-deadliest storm to hit the U.S. mainland in over 50 years.

Hurricane Helene has devastated multiple states, flattening communities, flooding towns, and damaging infrastructure. Many citizens are still missing, while others in rural areas remain stranded in their homes. Government inaction, red tape, and dwindling funds have hampered rescue efforts.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas revealed that the Federal Emergency Management Agency is lacking sufficient funding to navigate the hurricane season, despite spending $640 million on illegal migrants.
Bidenâs assertion that hurricane victims are âhappy across the boardâ is puzzling. Countless Americans who have lost everythingâfamily, friends, homesâare hardly âhappy.â
Bidenâs failure to remember the hurricane he was visiting and his description of traumatized Americans as âhappyâ raise a critical question: Who is truly running the country? It certainly isnât Biden.
