CNN Reporter Gets Schooled by Random Shirtless Guy

CNN contributor Elle Reeve attempted to argue that a man she was interviewing can’t complain about the economy because he owns a boat.

The man, Joe Harner, was identified as a Trump supporter attending a Trump boat parade. When asked about the most important political issue at the moment, he said “the economy.” 

In response, she bizarrely tried to argue that the economy must be OK because he owns a boat - nevermind the overwhelming majority of people who don’t own a boat.  It's also bizarre to see someone concerned about less fortunate than him economically portrayed as a negative from CNN. 

He fired back; “Listen, nobody gave me s-t. I earned everything that I’ve got. I’m retired military and retired power plant. And I’m successful and retired, with boats and jet skis, because I did it right. Everybody has that chance. Whether they choose (that) or not, that’s up to them.”
