Even his enablers at CNN are finding as much, with their new poll finding that "75% of Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters want the party to nominate someone other than President Joe Biden in the 2024 election, a sharp increase from earlier this year."
A quarter of Democrats don't think Biden can win in 2024 (up from 18% in February) and 32% don't want Biden reelected (up from 16% earlier this year). Only 25% said they'd prefer Biden as the nominee, which is down big league from 45% at the start of the year. Among Democrats under the age of 45, only 18% want Biden to be the nominee in 2024.
CNN's Erin Burnett was visibly surprised when reporting on the poll results, saying they "stopped me in my tracks."
Meanwhile, in the Real Clear Politics average Biden is nearly 20-points underwater among all voters, making him the least popular president in the history of modern polling.
This news comes as Biden is touting $4.50 a gallon gas as an achievement.
