While many (myself included) were cynical because of the swamp’s tendency to get away with everything, it’s looking like FBI Director Christopher Wray may actually face consequences for withholding documents allegedly further exposing a bribery scheme involving President Joe Biden.
The document in question allegedly describes a $5 million criminal scheme involving then-VP Biden and a foreign national. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has seen the document and its contents himself.
Wray missed two deadlines to produce the document, and as such, the House Oversight Committee is now going to be holding him in contempt. “Today, FBI officials confirmed that the unclassified, FBI-generated record has not been disproven and stated several times the information contained within it is currently being used in an ongoing investigation,” Comer said. “The confidential human source who provided information about then-Vice President Biden being involved in a criminal bribery scheme is a trusted, highly credible informant who has been used by the FBI for years. These are facts and no amount of spin, and frankly lies, from the White House or Congressional Democrats can change this information.”
Comer continued; “At the briefing, the FBI again refused to hand over the unclassified record to the custody of the House Oversight Committee and we will now initiate contempt of Congress proceedings. Given the severity and complexity of the allegations contained within this record, Congress must investigate further. Americans have lost trust in the FBI’s ability to enforce the law impartially and demand answers, transparency, and accountability. The Oversight Committee must follow the facts for the American people and ensure the federal government is held accountable.”

Meanwhile, Representative Anna Paulina Luna revealed yesterday that the FBI is afraid that their own informant may be killed if unmasked.

This comes just months after Biden sexual assault accuser Tara Reade started posting cryptic messages to her social media that “all roads lead to Biden” if something were to happen to her, which was followed by her leaving the country, claiming to fear for her safety.
