JD Vance and Kamala Harris shared a tarmac in Eau Claire while holding dueling campaign events in Wisconsin.
While the two didn’t encounter each other on the tarmac, Vance did make something of an attempt, walking over to her Air Force Two, and speaking to some reporters.
“I just wanted to check out my future plane, hopefully it’s going to be my plane in a few months” he joked to reporters after deboarding and walking straight over to Air Force Two as Harris and her new running mate Tim Walz were on board.
“I also thought you guys might get lonely because the vice president doesn’t answer questions from reporters, and hasn’t in seventeen days. Have you guys been given an explanation for why she won’t take questions from reporters?” Vance asked, with the reporters offering silence in response.
“No? Nobody? Ok, great.”
