Karine Jean-Pierre, who is somehow the most talented propagandist the Biden administration could find, attempted to imply there was doubt about the immigration status of the alleged murderer of UGA student Laken Riley, while then pivoting to spouting off talking points to the non-existent steps the administration has taken to make the border safer.
When asked by CNN’s John Berman about Republicans pinning Riley’s murder on the Biden administration's policies, she replied “So, first of all, I want to offer our condolences to the family of Laken. I mean, this is a horrific, horrific loss for any family. And obviously, if whoever is found guilty we need to make sure that, make sure that happens. And obviously, we don't want to -- we don't want to see anything happen like that again.”
Once she finished pretending to care about Riley, she then pivoted to complaining about Republicans. “But here's the thing. We have done the work to make sure we're dealing with a broken immigration system. The Republicans have gotten in the way. They have gotten in the way. And that's what we continue to see over and over and over again.”
On the Biden administration’s watch, the number of illegals crossing the border every year has set three conservative records after effectively reversing all Trump-era border policies.
