Joe Biden and the White House are going silent following the politically motivated indictment of Donald Trump in a case legal experts admit is weak.
When asked by Fox’s Peter Doocy if he thought the obviously politically motivated charges were indeed politically motivated, Biden simply replied “I have no comment on Trump,” and walked away.
Later while speaking to Brett Baier, Doocy said he couldn’t get anyone in the White House to offer a substantive comment. “I asked officials here at the White House if they had any comment on the indictment [or] if they were going to have any comment on this indictment tonight. And I got a really short response back. All it said was ‘we don’t.’”
Meanwhile, Trump fired back at the news in a statement blasting the move as political persecution and election interference “at the highest level in history.”
“They Democrats have lied, cheated, and stolen in their obsession with trying to ‘Get Trump,’ but now they’ve done the unthinkable - indicting a completely innocent person in an act of blatant Election Interference.”
Trump also made note that Manhattan’s DA Alvin Bragg has accepted money from George Soros, and has been weak on crime when it comes to the actual criminals destroying the city.
