During an interview on ABC's The View Tuesday, Vice President Kamala Harris was asked whether she would have handled any situations differently than President Joe Biden over the past four years.
"Would you have done anything differently than President Biden during the past four years?” host Sunny Hostin asked. "There is not a thing that comes to mind,” Kamala replied. “I've been a part of most of the decisions that have had an impact."

The soundbite has already proven deeply damaging to Harris's campaign. Despite being touted as a potential agent of “change,” Harris admitted a potential administration under her name would be no different than Biden. According to Harris herself, she has been complicit in handling key issues under the current administration, which includes everything from the open border crisis, rising inflation, the deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan, the government’s failed response to Hurricane Helene, and the ongoing U.S.-funded war in Ukraine.
By asserting she wouldn’t change a single aspect of Biden's record, Harris indicated that she's proud of the current failing administration, and the Trump campaign jumped on it. The same day Kamala appeared on The View, the Trump campaign released a powerful ad on social media:
