In a recent 60 Minutes interview, Vice President Kamala Harris revealed she owns a Glock—a firearm she once supported banning in California.
During the interview, CBS Correspondent Bill Whitaker asked, “So, what kind of gun do you own, and when and why did you get it?” Harris responded, “I have a Glock, and I've had it for quite some time. My background is in law enforcement, so there you go.”
Pressing further, Whitaker asked if she had ever fired the weapon. Harris laughed and replied, “Yes, of course I have. At a shooting range.”
This admission comes as a surprise given Harris’s previous support for anti-Second Amendment measures. In 2005, while serving as San Francisco’s District Attorney, Harris backed Proposition H, a ballot measure that sought to ban San Francisco residents from owning, selling, or possessing handguns. The measure also prohibited the sale, distribution, and manufacturing of firearms and ammunition in the city.My background is in law enforcement. Yes, I own a glock.pic.twitter.com/gTbjrEMCPA

Harris has stated, “This business about taking everyone’s guns away—Tim Walz and I are both gun owners. We’re not taking anyone’s guns away.” However, her past support for strict gun control measures, combined with her current ownership of a Glock, raises questions about her consistency. Kamala is either a hypocrite or lying—neither of which reflects well on her.
