Supporters of Kamala Harris for President, who apparently do exist, struggled to name any of her accomplishments when asked.
A Fox reporter spoke to attendees at the American Federation of Teachersâ Convention, which Harris delivered an address at, in an attempt to learn why theyâre supporting her.
As for the accomplishments attendees could name, they ranged from "I really don't know much of what she didâ to "I'm not sure I know enough about her accomplishments to answer that question.â
While itâs not something youâll hear them admit, Harrisâ main âaccomplishmentâ for Democrats has been her complete decimation of the U.S.-Mexico border.
Over seven million illegals have entered the U.S. on Harrisâ watch - a sum greater than the population of 36 individual states.
For two decades the conventional wisdom has been that there are 11 million illegal aliens in America, but it's a number which our government has never seen fit to update.
A Yale Study in 2018 found that the true number of illegals in the country was 22 million at the time, and Bidenâs border crisis has only added to that. During the 2021 fiscal year over 1.7 million illegals were apprehended, in the 2022 fiscal CBP encountered nearly 2.4 million illegals, while in the 2023 fiscal year there were nearly 2.5 million encounters. In other words, the Biden admin has set three consecutive records for the number of encounters at the border.
Unsurprisingly, Harris is also demanding a pathway to citizenship, which would allow illegals to vote in presidential elections, of which all evidence shows theyâd overwhelmingly vote Democratic.
During an interview with CNNâs Laura Coates back in January, Harris discussed the crisis at the border, which she used as an opportunity to push for the exact sort of policies that would ensure its continuance in perpetuity. "There's no question that our immigration system is broken. And so much so, that as the first bill that we offered after our inauguration, was to fix the immigration system, which included what we must do to create a pathway for citizenship and to put the resources that are needed into the border. But sadly, people on the other side of the aisle have been playing politics with this issue," she said.
