In her latest briefing, White House Chief Propagandist Karine Jean-Pierre tried to sidestep the “age” issue by arguing that Biden accomplished more in three years than most presidents do in two terms, citing no examples.
KJP: This is a president, as we're talking about the achievements he's made in the first three years, he's done more in the first three years than presidents have done in two terms, in their two terms. I mean, that is just a fact in what we have seen in the data, what he's been able to accomplish. That's what this president has been able to do.
And why has that happened? Because it takes experience. It does. It takes someone who has been in the Senate for 36 years, been vice president for eight years, and you see that experience because he's been able to deliver for the American people.

To give her credit, she did at least realize that the age issue isn’t really an age issue, but a competence issue. If Biden could speak complete sentences, find his way off a stage, or get up the stairs of Air Force One without a spotter, his age wouldn’t be an issue. In reality, it’s those factors contrasted with “accomplishments” that have sparked record inflation and an unprecedented border crisis the administration is only pretending to now see as problems now that they’re heading into a presidential election.
