Hilarity ensued during a panel discussion on Piers Morgan’s show Uncensored, when the Daily Wire’s Michael Knowles asked leftist pundit Francesca Fiorentini if she could articulate exactly what crime Donald Trump had committed in the New York “hush money” case.
“I’d challenge her to articulate how and what crime Trump committed. So far Alvin Bragg failed to do so, Judge Merchan failed to do so, and they can’t do it because Trump didn’t commit any of the crimes for which he’s been convicted” Knowles said.
Fiorentini began to reply, incoherently; “It was, it was, it was financial crimes, it was white collar crimes, that is exactly what they charged him with, he was convicted on.” When asked what specific law was broken, she doubled down on sidestepping the question, claiming that “It’s New York State law,” before attempting to be more specific, adding that Trump “cooked the actual books.”
