Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is the latest victim of the weak-on-crime policies she pushes.

While in the House of Representatives, Bass advocated a 50% reduction in the nation’s prison population, calling the prison population an “embarrassment to our country,” and claiming that most people are “locked up because they’re poor.”

Now that she’s Mayor of Los Angeles, she’s been able to push her weak-on-crime agenda on the residents of that city, with a helping hand from the infamous George Soros-backed District Attorney George Gascon. But even with the additional security her job affords, even she isn't safe from the consequences of her ideaology.

According to the New York Post:

A suspect was arrested after breaking into Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass’ home early Sunday morning.

The Los Angeles Police Department said at about 6:40 a.m., an individual smashed a window to break into Getty House while people were inside.

Getty House is Bass’ official home, and is located on South Irving Boulevard in Windsor Square, nearly five miles west of Los Angeles City Hall.

The incident comes as crime continues to rise amid the LA district attorney’s soft-on-crime approach to court cases.

This marks the second time her home has been broken into in the past two years, the last time being when she was a Mayoral candidate. She didn't learn anything from the incident then either.
