A 38-year-old man was arrested for indecent exposure to a minor after he allegedly stripped completely naked in a women’s locker room at a North Carolina Planet Fitness last week.
According to the Daily Wire:
“Christopher Allan Miller allegedly took advantage of Planet Fitness’ policy that allows members to use locker rooms, bathrooms, and showers based on their ‘gender identity’ and entered the women’s locker room at the gym’s Gastonia, North Carolina, location. He then allegedly disrobed and asked a woman to rub lotion on him and shower together before one woman called 911, sources told WSOC-TV.”
Notably, Miller identified as a male in his online inmate entry when he was booked at the local jail.
Planet Fitness Chief Corporate Affairs Officer McCall Gosselin told the Daily Wire in a statement, “At Planet Fitness, the safety of our employees and members is our top priority, and we have zero tolerance for harassment of any kind in our clubs. We took immediate action to ensure the safety of club members, including notifying and working with law enforcement.”
Is safety really Planet Fitness’s “top priority,” though?
According to Planet Fitness’s gender-identity policy: “All members, including transgender members, may use Planet Fitness locker room facilities, bathrooms, showers, and all other facilities/programs separated by sex based on their self-reported gender identity.” In other words, predators who simply “identify” as women are allowed to use the women's locker rooms, where women and girls as young as 13-years-old change and shower.
It seems that Planet Fitness’s top priority isn’t safety, but accommodating the delusions and demands of the left's radical gender ideology at the expense of their female patrons.
Just last month, Planet Fitness reportedly canceled a woman’s membership after she took a photo of a man in the women’s locker room.
“I received a call this morning at 8:55 AM from Samantha at Planet Fitness announcing that they have chosen to cancel my membership rather than protect youth girls and women 12 years and older that enter the women’s locker room from men with a penis,” wrote Patricia Silva. “Instead, they defended the man with the penis, who was shaving in the women’s locker room. Despicable.”
Planet Fitness responded by defending its decision to cancel Silva’s membership, asserting that “As the home of the Judgement Free Zone, Planet Fitness is committed to creating an inclusive environment.” By "inclusive environment" Planet Fitness really means a hotspot for sexual predators where the safety of women and girls are sacrificed at the altar of irrational left-wing gender politics.
