In an interview Wednesday, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins tried to invalidate practicing OB-GYN and pro-lifer Dr. Christina Francis’ objections to the deadly and dangerous abortion pill.

“But just to be clear, Dr. Francis,” said Collins, “You've never been required to perform an abortion, for someone who had complications from taking [the abortion pill], right?” Apparently, if Francis has never treated a patient affected by the abortion pill, that means the dangers aren't real to Collins.

However, Francis has treated patients affected by the abortion pill. “So, I have actually taken care of women, in our emergency room, who have come in with complications, and had to do procedures, to finish removing the contents of their pregnancy from their uterus,” Francis responded.

“I have been brought down to the emergency room, to complete the process that was started by these abortion drugs,” Francis continued. “And, again, this is happening more and more frequently, because women are not even receiving in-person medical care, prior to receiving these high-risk drugs, because of the [Food and Drug Administration’s] FDA's decisions.”

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court began hearing oral arguments to decide whether the FDA violated the law when it approved the abortion pill for mail order and other expansions.

In response, the corporate media has been furiously trying to deny the real Health risks posed by the abortion pill.

As The Federalist’s Jordan Boyd reports

“[M]ifepristone is responsible for a 500 percent increase in abortion-related emergency room visits for complications such as hemorrhage, “fast, weak pulse,” “shortness of breath,” diarrhea, dizziness, headache, vomiting, and “pain” across the back, arms, neck, and abdomen, and a myriad of other risks. Even the FDA admits in the mifepristone label that 1 in 25 women who down the drug will end up in the hospital.”

Perhaps Collins’ segment Wednesday will serve as a lesson for all left-wing journalists: Your abortion industry talking points and "gotcha" journalism tactics don’t stand a chance against an honest medical professional.
