MSNBC host Rachel Maddow claimed she’s "worried" former President Trump could throw her in jail or an internment camp meant for illegal immigrants along with other leftists if he wins the 2024 presidential election.
When asked on CNN during a Q&A if she’s worried she could be jailed for criticizing Trump, Maddow responded affirmatively. “I'm worried about the country broadly if we put someone in power who is openly avowing that he plans to build camps to hold millions of people, and to ‘root out’ what he's described in subhuman terms as his ‘enemy from within,’” she said. “[W]hat convinces you that these massive camps he's planning are only for migrants? So, yes, I'm worried about me — but only as much as I'm worried about all of us.”
"I think there’s a little bit of head-in-the-sand complacency that Trump only intends to go after individual people he has already singled out," Maddow continued. "Do you really think he plans to stop at well-known liberals?"
Ironically, Maddow is infamous for pushing the Russia Collusion hoax, which was an attempt by deep state officials to subvert the will of the people and unseat Trump using evidence funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign. After years of cheering on the weaponization of the state against Trump, Maddow is now concerned that a Trump Administration will weaponize itself against the left.
Maddow isn’t the only Democrat guilty of projecting their propensity for unconstitutional, illegal activity on Trump and his supporters. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently told podcaster Kara Swisher that she “wouldn’t be surprised if this guy (Trump) threw me in jail.”
