Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre didn’t even bother trying to come up with an explanation for the cocaine that was recently discovered at White House.
She insisted that Biden and his family weren’t at the White House over the weekend during the discovery; "As you know, the President and the First Lady and their family were not here this weekend, as you all reported on this and as you also know that they left on Friday and returned just yesterday," she continued. "Where this was discovered is a heavily-traveled area where many White House- West Wing, I should be even more specific, West Wing visitors come through this particular area, I just don't have anything more to share."
But then refused to answer if staffers would undergo further drug testing, stating that they’re already subject to rigorous guidelines that involve testing - and refused to answer much of anything else at all. After refusing to answer a series of question, one reporter desperately asked if she could try to explain why she can’t explain anything, asking “can you explain why you can’t explain it?”
Watch below:
Unnamed “law enforcement officials” told Politico that, conveniently, it’s unlikely the source of the drugs will ever be found. Meanwhile, one who will go on the record, the former Customers and Border Protection Agency head Mark Morgan, said it should only take the secret service about a half hour to identify the culprit - if they look.
