During a recent House Committee Hearing, Democrats were deeply triggered by George Soros being called out for funding weak-on-crime district attorneys nationwide that have helped fuel a crime crisis.
While in one breath Democrats love to brand it an anti-semitic conspiracy theory to even suggest that Soros spending billions of dollars on politics could influence it, we appear to have reached the “it’s happening and it’s good” stage of the debate, as Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee openly defended Soros’ meddling as “patriotic.”
Before questioning a witness, Jackson Lee said “Let me ask you this: First of all we have accusatory commentary of Soros DA's. Let us not put an individual that is not here, a contributing American, and jeopardize his life, or always throwing his name out in the most ugliest of ways. I am offended by that. Mr. Soros does not deserve that. He is an American and a patriot, and he also comes from a minority community, one might say, and you create a dangerous situation. That's unfortunate.”
The comment came just days after Jackson described herself as a "clear recipient" of affirmative action.

Soros has funded nearly 80 “pro-crime” DAs nationwide, spending over $40 million in the process.
Pick any DA to scrutinize, and it’s the same story. Philadelphia’s Larry Krasner (backed with nearly $1.5 million from Soros) dropped charges on more than 60% of shooting cases and 37% of illegal firearms cases in the two years after taking office in 2018. Ten days after taking office, Portland DA Mike Schmidt (backed with $320,000 from Soros) announced that he’d refuse to prosecute rioters in the summer of 2020, and instead defended them. Others funded by Soros include Kim Foxx, known for her role in attempting to cover up the Jussie Smollett faux-hate crime, Kimberly Gardner, who made headlines for persecuting the McCloskeys for defending their home against riots, and pro-shoplifting (now former DA) Chesa Boudin - among countless others.
