Another one of Democrat Rep. Dan Goldmanâs lies about Devon Archerâs testimony was just exposed after the transcripts were released.
After the closed door testimony earlier this week, Goldman claimed to the press that Archer testified that Hunter Biden had created only the âillusion of accessâ during business dealings.
And as the transcripts reveal, it was Goldman and only Goldman who used the term âillusion of accessâ to describe Hunterâs business model, not Archer - and Archerâs answer was far more nuanced than Goldman let us to believe.
"Is it fair to say that Hunter Biden was selling the illusion of access to his father?" the transcripts show Goldman asking Archer.
âYes,â Archer replied.
Goldman then followed up, trying to score a point; "So, when you talk about selling the brand, it's not about selling access to his father. It's about selling the illusion of access to his father. Is that fair?"
Archer replied "Is that fair? I mean, yeah, that is⌠I think that's⌠that's almost fairâŚ. there are touch points and contact points that I can't deny that happened, but nothing of material was discussed.â
Goldman has amazingly claimed that Joe Biden only listened in on Hunterâs business calls to talk about the weather. The sudden acknowledgement that Joe Biden was aware of Hunterâs business deals comes after years of denials.
Goldman previously embarrassed himself by accidentally acknowledging that the duo discussed business during the testimony of two IRS whistleblowers at a House Oversight Committee hearing last month.
Goldman tried to press IRS supervisor Gary Shapley about his testimony that Hunter told Joe he âmay be trying to start a company or try do something with these guys,â telling Shapley that it "doesn't sound much like Joe Biden was involved in whatever Hunter Biden was doing with the [Chinese oil and natural gas company] CEFC if Hunter Biden is telling him that heâs trying to do business with them, does it?"
Shapley agreed - but pointed out that this proved Joe Biden was talking about business with Hunter, leaving Goldman flustered in trying to brush off the significance of what he just admitted.
