VP Harris Praises U.S. "Alliance With Republic of North Korea"

During a speech in the demilitarized zone at the North Korea-South Korea border, Vice President Kamala Harris managed to avoid any significant word salad - but did accidentally claim a strong U.S. alliance with the rogue state of North Korea.  

“The United States shares a very important relationship, which is an alliance with the Republic of North Korea. And it is an alliance that is strong and enduring,” Harris said.

This gaffe comes just one day after North Korea launched two ballistic missiles in retaliation for Harris’ then-looming visit.
