When Joe Biden took office in 2020, the liberal media declared that “the adults are back in charge.”
Let’s see how that’s going.
As per the Daily Mail:
Biden is setting up the next hurdle as he proves he is up for campaigning amid calls by lawmakers for him to step back – submitting to what the White House is now calling a 'big boy' press conference.
“I guess a big boy press conference, we're calling it, and take some questions from you all,” White House national security spokesman John Kirby called it while discussing Biden's schedule.
Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre also used the term – which came from a reporter who last week wanted to know the nature of the event. Biden will “hold a press conference - a big boy press conference,” Jean-Pierre said at the White House while battling questions about Biden's health and cognition.
The big boy is set to hold his press conference on Thursday.
In past pressers, Biden has used a list of reporters to call on that sometimes includes photos of who they are, and what they’re going to ask.
This is the norm for Biden.
Philadelphia radio host Andrea Lawful-Sanders was recently ousted from her job after admitting on CNN that her interview with Biden, which was the first after his debate with Trump, was scripted. "Yes, I got several questions, eight of them, and the four that were chosen were the ones that I approved," she told CNN.
Milwaukee radio host Earl Ingram told ABC News on the same day as Sanders’ revelation that he “was given some questions for Biden” ahead of his post-debate sit-down interview with Biden.
Meanwhile, back in 2021, ESPN’s Sage Steele told Fox News Digital that “To the word. Every single question was scripted, gone over dozens of times by many editors and executives. Absolutely. I was on script and was told not to deviate.”
