AG Barr Assembled “Team” to Investigate Corrupt FBI Probe into Trump Campaign

Attorney General William Barr has assembled a “team” to investigate the inception of the FBI’s hoax probe into Trump-Russia collusion, according to an administration official who spoke with Fox News.

Yesterday during a congressional hearing, the attorney general said that he is “reviewing the conduct” of the FBI’s Trump-Russia probe and that the Inspector General’s investigation into FISA abuse allegations is nearing an end.

Barr was asked if the Justice Department was investigating how it used the salacious and unverified anti-Trump dossier as a “predicate” for a FISA order on a United States citizen.

“The office of the inspector general has a pending investigation of the FISA process in the Russia investigation and I expect that that will be complete in probably may or June, I am told,” said Barr. “So hopefully we’ll have some answers from Inspector General [Michael] Horowitz on the issue of the FISA warrants.”

He continued, “I am reviewing the conduct of the investigation and trying to get my arms around all of the aspects of the counterintelligence investigation that was conducted during the summer of 2016.”

When asked if he would be investigating who leaked the existence of the FISA warrant against Trump campaign volunteer Carter Page, Barr replied, “I haven’t seen the referrals yet from Congressman Nunes, but obviously if there’s a predicate for an investigation it will be conducted.”
