Dianne Feinstein, who despite recent health troubles and tough competition from John Fetterman still remains the most cerebral Democrat in the Senate, doesn’t remember that she wasn’t at the Capitol for the past three months due to a medical absence.
Feinstein was asked by a reporter about the reception she’s gotten from her colleagues upon her return - to which she was baffled at what he was talking about.
“No, I haven’t been gone. You should follow the… I haven’t been gone. I’ve been working” a confused Feinstein replied.
When the reporter followed up to clarify if Feinstein meant that she’d been working from home, she fired back “No, I’ve been here. I’ve been voting. Please. You either know or don’t know.”
