Disgraced former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner will register as a sex offender after he was convicted of sexting with an underage teenager, according to the New York Post.
Weiner’s attorney, Arlo Devlin-Brown told Bronx Supreme Court judge Raymond Bruce that his client would be designated as a level 1 sex offender–“meaning he’s the lowest risk of reoffending on the three-level scale.”
Weiner is currently at a halfway house three miles from the court and is planning to register by mail.
Under the designation–the Post writes–“only Weiner’s zip code will be made public.”
