The Antifa terrorist who was killed by police after attacking an ICE detention facility with incendiary devices invoked the rhetoric of Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) in his manifesto.

The incident occurred in Tacoma, Washington on Saturday and the attacker, self-proclaimed Antifa activist Willem Van Spronsen was reportedly angered by the “factually inaccurate portrayal” of the facility.

He called ICE centers “corporate for profit concentration camps” in his manifesto.

Last month, Ocasio-Cortez enraged many with her comments comparing ICE detention facilities to concentration camps.

Van Spronsen also urged his fellow “comrades and incoming comrades to arm themselves.”

“We are now responsible for defending people from the predatory state,” he wrote. “Ignore the law in arming yourself if you have the luxury, I did.”

“I am antifa. I stand with comrades around the world who act from the love of life in every permutation. Comrades who understand that freedom means real freedom for all and a life worth living,” he continued.

Ocasio-Cortez refused to condemn the attack when pressed today by a reporter in the halls of Congress:
