Representative Alexnadria Ocasio-Coretz’s new climate documentary is tanking in the box office faster than my IQ when I hear her speak.

According to the Washington Examiner:

Rep. Cortez might be reeling after her new climate change film bombed at the box office.

Titled To The End, the documentary showcased the life and work of four young women and their attempt to pass significant legislation to address the Earth's changing climate.

The film managed to rake in a mere $80 per theater, according to a report. Debuting at 120 locations, To The End brought in less than $10,000 dollars.

She did successfully preach to the choir at least, with the film scoring an 83% on Rotten Tomatoes, and having positive written reviews from overwhelmingly liberal film critics.

According to "12 years until doomsday" timeline that AOC has provided us for climate armageddon back in 2019, we have exactly 2594 days left on Earth (as of writing).

When one is predicting the end of days with such precision, it certainly gives the impression that they're just making things up.... which is basically what is happening here.

The 12-year timeline is based on an estimate from the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which stated that we only have 12 years to contain global warming to a maximum of a 1.5 degree Celsius rise in global temperature. A 1.5C rise was the target of most of the world’s governments in the Paris Climate Agreement. According to the UN, meeting their goals would require ending the use of fossil fuels by the year 2030, which the authors estimate would cost the global economy $54 trillion.

At the UN’s Rio Climate Summit in 1992 top scientists said we only had 10 years to get climate change under control, so clearly the goalpost has been moved throughout history (and there are dozens of similar examples). Three years prior, in 1989, a senior UN environmental official predicted doomsday by the year 2000, by which “entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels.”
