Art Gallery Selling Hunter Biden’s Paintings Got $500k COVID Loan
Already facing a number of questions over Hunter Biden selling what he considers to be “art” for hundreds of thousands of dollars through them, it’s since been learned that the art gallery selling his works benefitted handsomely from the Joe Biden-era version of the PPP program.
The Georges Berges Gallery initially received a $150k COVID “disaster assistance loan” last year, but it was “revised” this summer, with another $350k approved. The approval came in the lead-up to their marketing of Hunter’s paintings, meaning they potentially could’ve been used to promote his work, and the gallery ended up selling five of them for $75k each last week.
