While speaking to journalist Megyn Kelly in her first sit-down interview, Joe Biden’s sexual assault accuser Tara Reade called on the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee to drop out of the race.
From the New York Post:
“Joe Biden, please step forward and be accountable,” Reade tells Kelly in a clip from a longer, yet-to-air interview teased on Kelly’s Twitter account.
“You want him to withdraw?” Kelly asks in the clip.
“I wish he would,” Reade answers. “But he won’t, but I wish he would. That’s how I feel emotionally.”
Asked if she wants an apology, Reade answers, “I think it’s a little late.”

In her sit-down with Kelly, Reade spoke about how she has been harassed online for coming forward against Biden, from Biden’s surrogates to anyone who has had an axe to grind in general.
Reade also added that Biden should not be “running on character.” “And I mean these are serious things. His campaign is taking this position that they want all women to be able to speak safely — I have not experienced that,” Reade said.
Biden has denied the allegations of the 1993 sexual assault, yet Reade has plenty of evidence dating back to that era, the latest being a 1996 court document showing she told her then-husband about the incident.
