Ahead of the expiration of Title 42 today, Joe Biden finally admitted that there was chaos at the border - and that more of it would be to come.
Biden told a reporter that his administration was supposedly going to make the change to new migration policies in an orderly fashion, but admitted that “it’s going to be chaotic for a while.”
Later, Biden was asked if he could expand on what he meant by the “it’s going to be chaotic for a while” comment, to which Biden again rarely told the truth, admitting that the border was already chaos even before the end of Title 42. “Well, we’ve had chaos at the border for a number of years,” Biden responded.
Encounters with illegals at the border have increased from under 500,000 Trump’s last year in office to over 1.7 million in fiscal year 2021, and nearly 2.4 million in fiscal year 2022. There have already been 1.2 million encounters in the 2023 fiscal year (which began October 2022.
