Earlier today Joe Biden met with Latino leaders to remember the second anniversary of the tragic mass shooting in El Paso, Texas, where 23 people were murdered.
Biden used the opportunity to push for gun control, pledging to continue doing all he can to “fight for commonsense gun laws,” including a ban on assault weapons, high-capacity magazines, and “ghost guns.”
As is always the case with so-called “common sense” gun control measures, the devil is always in the details. In this case, we learn that “high capacity magazine” is being defined the way it is in California; as holding more than ten rounds.
