Biden Just Can’t Stop Lying About Trump’s Handling of Coronavirus
Presumptive 2020 Democrat nominee Joe Biden said earlier this week that regarding the Chinese coronavirus, President Trump should “listen to the experts.”
Meanwhile, Biden himself keeps spreading disinformation on what Trump is doing to combat the Wuhan disease.
For one, Biden claimed that Trump cut the CDC budget. In a Democrat debate in January, Biden said that “We increased the budget of the CDC. We increased the NIH budget. … He’s wiped all that out. … He cut the funding for the entire effort.” However, while it’s true that Trump requested certain cuts, Congress actually increased its budget.
Biden also said that Trump referred to the Wuhan virus as a “hoax.” Meanwhile, the claim has been debunked many times, in that Trump was saying that the media’s coverage of how Trump is handling the pandemic is a hoax, in the sense that Russian collusion and a Ukrainian phone call were a hoax.
Biden still tweeted a doctored video that spliced together Trump saying “coronavirus” and “this is their new hoax” anyway, even though it was already shown to be a lie:
We can't sit by and lose this country to Donald Trump. Today, we take it back — together.

A third example is when Biden spoke to the public about the virus, saying that “The administration’s failure on testing is colossal and it’s a failure of leadership, planning, and execution. This virus laid bare the severe shortcomings of the current administration.”
However, Biden then went on to give what would be his plan if he were president, and it was eerily similar to Trump’s itself. Biden said that Trump should be getting private labs and universities to ramp up testing, giving small businesses relief, getting insurance companies should waive copays for testing, accelerating vaccine development, and advising people to wash their hands and not to go to work if sick. PJ Media notes though that Trump proposed and/or did all of these things earlier.
Biden also called Trump’s China travel ban “xenophobic,” however Dr. Anthony Fauci, who is the de facto head of Trump’s Coronavirus Task Force, said that “it is possible that by blocking travel from China earlier this year, President Trump may have prevented a larger spread of the virus.” Maybe Biden can learn from an expert.
In a time like this – we can thank God that Joe Biden isn’t President. Let’s not let that change in November.
