Joe Biden was asked by a reporter about whether he supported the Colorado Supreme Court removing Donald Trump from the ballot - and he refused to answer, but followed up with a comment indicating that he does agree with their ruling.
āItās a court case. Thatās up to the court,ā Biden said to reporters. There was, of course, never any doubt that court cases are determined by courts.
But he then added āWhether the 14th Amendment applies or not, weāll let the court make that decision. But he certainly supported an insurrection. Thereās no question about it. None. Zero. And he seems to be doubling down on it.ā
Coloradoās move to remove Trump from the ballot has drawn condemnation from most of Trumpā primary challengers, and even Bidenās primary challenger, Rep. Dean Phillips, has denounced the move.
That Biden is refusing to comment itself reveals his position on the matter.
