In the age of Joe Biden, the new administration and mainstream media quickly rebranded “kids in cages” as “kids in migrant facilities” – and despite the rebranding, they still don’t want you to know what they look like.
Senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn led a delegation of Senators to Donna, Texas, over the weekend. They toured a migrant holding facility, but when Cruz attempted to film what they were seeing, that’s when a Biden staffer attempted to block him.
“Please give dignity to the people. Please give dignity to the people. … Please respect the people, the rules,” the staffer said to Cruz.
“So you work for the commissioner, you’re a senior adviser, you were hired two weeks ago and you’re instructed to ask us to not have any pictures taken here because the political leadership at DHS does not want the American people to know it,” Cruz replied.
“Please don’t treat the people as such,” the staffer said.
“Your policies are unfortunately trying to hide them. I understand that you were instructed. I respect them, and I want to fix this situation, and the administration that you work for is responsible for these conditions,” Cruz responded.
In addition to Cruz, Sen. Mark Braun said he was approached by a Biden aide after touring the facility who asked him to delete any photos he’d taken. Sen. James Lankford reported a “nearly identical” experience to Braun.
Meanwhile, Kamala Harris, who Biden appointed as his Border Czar to solve the border crisis that they won’t admit is a crisis, seems to be more preoccupied with moving into her Washington D.C. residence, and is reportedly frustrated by all the ongoing renovations. So that’s a more pressing issue to her.
Neither Biden or Harris will be heading towards the border soon – but Trump will. Trump said in an interview with Jeanine Pirro on Saturday: “A lot of people want me to go… the Border Patrol and the people of ICE want me there and have asked me to go. I feel I sort of owe it to them.” Asked when he’d make the visit, Trump replied “Over the next couple of weeks. The Border Patrol wants me to go. Probably over the next couple of weeks. I don’t think there’s a rush for me to go.”
“I would love not to be involved. Someone else is supposed to be doing it” Trump noted. But Biden and Harris won’t do anything.
