During a public event at the White House last night, soon-to-be-former President Biden criticized both President-elect Donald Trump and members of the press. After signing the “Social Security Fairness Act,” which increased benefits for three million public workers, Biden addressed questions from attendees.
When asked by a reporter, "Do you still believe he’s [Trump’s] a threat to democracy?" Biden replied, "I think what he did was a genuine threat to democracy,” referring to January 6. The discussion then shifted to Trump's proposal to end birthright citizenship, which Biden condemned as "awful" and as supposedly undermining constitutional rights.
Subsequently, Biden directed his criticism toward the reporters present, lashing out on them: "I might be the oldest president, but I know more world leaders than any one of you have ever met in your whole goddamn life!"
