In the latest edition of “saying the quiet part out loud,” Joe Biden confirmed what we all knew for years, that leftists don’t truly believe that children belong to their parents.
While speaking at the National and State Teacher of the Year Celebration to honor this year’s recipient, Oklahoma high school teacher Rebekah Peterson, he quoted a statement from bere that there’s “no such thing as someone else’s child.”
"Rebekah put a teacher's creed into words when she said, ‘There is no such thing as someone else's child.’ No such thing as someone else's child. Our nation's children are all our children," Biden said.

This sort of thinking is mainstreamed enough in leftist circles that MSNBC echoed it in a widely criticized advertisement for their “Lean Forward” campaign back in 2016. “We have never invested as much in public education as we should have because we've always had kind of a private notion of children. Your kid is yours and totally your responsibility. We haven't had a very collective notion of these are our children,” former host Melissa Harris-Perry said in the ad. “So part of it is we have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents, or kids belong to their families, and recognize that kids belong to whole communities.”
