Joe Biden’s climate envoy, John Kerry, still owns a private jet.
Per Fox News,
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) records indicate that the family of U.S. Special Envoy for Climate John Kerry owns a private jet, despite his position on combatting fossil fuels in the new administration.
The FAA’s registry shows a Gulfstream Aerospace jet owned by Flying Squirrel LLC, the name previously reported for Teresa Heinz-Kerry’s private charter jet company. The company’s listed address matches that of the Heinz Family Foundation.
This comes on the heels of John Kerry talking down to people that lost their jobs when the Biden Administration canceled the Keystone Pipeline.
“They have been fed the notion that somehow dealing with climate is coming at their expense. No, it’s not. What is happening to them is happening because of other market forces are already taking place. …”You look at the consequences of black lung for a miner, for instance, and measure that against the fastest-growing job in the United States, [which] before COVID was the solar power technician. The same people can do those jobs, but the choice of doing the solar power one now is a better choice.”
Of course, NONE OF THAT has anything to do with “market forces.” Biden shut down the Keystone Pipeline for political reasons, not market reasons, and the solar industry is heavily dependent on government support. If you took that away, the whole thing would pop like a balloon because the technology may show some promise, but it’s not ready for prime time and only government money is keeping the industry afloat.
At the end of the day, it’s the same old, same old with liberals. You can’t get a haircut or go to a restaurant because of COVID-19, but they can. You shouldn’t be allowed to have a gun, but they have a half dozen armed men guarding them. You shouldn’t fly on a plane because of the greenhouse gasses, but they have a mansion and a private jet. If liberals knew they’d have to live by the same rules they propose for everyone else, you’d see their attitudes change in a hurry.
