Bill Maher Says America Is Becoming Segregated Again – And Liberals Are To Blame

Fight tech tyranny. Join Dan on Rumble.

Bill Maher is one of those liberals who is offensive, obnoxious, and wrong the vast majority of the time, but still occasionally stumbles into a terrific point about the Left. He did that again while talking to Democratic data scientist David Shor.

Maher noted:

“We seem to be entering an era of re-segregation that’s coming from the left. I mean, on many college campuses, there are separate dorms, separate black dorms, graduation ceremonies, stuff like that. How will that affect elections in the future?”

Creepily, Shor replied that “racially integrated schools make people more liberal.” In other words, the more we can teach people to break off into little groups and hate each other, the more it benefits the Democratic party. It’s possible that’s true, but do we really want to move towards segregation as a society again? Is this good for society? Does that even matter anymore for liberals? Sadly, it doesn’t. You get the impression that if the country were a boat, they would happily smash holes in the hull until the whole thing sank as long as it meant they had a better chance of being captain when it reached the bottom of the ocean.

Later in the episode Maher blasted the left’s obsession with equality of outcome.

It’s sad that we’re again reaching a point in America where believing in a colorblind world, treating people equally regardless of their skin color, and being opposed to segregation are only conservative values, not American values. Quite frankly, it’s hard to see a multi-racial society harmoniously operating in a world where people are treated differently because of their race and groups segregate by race to get away from each other, but that’s the world liberals seem to want. Let’s hope they don’t get their wish.
