JT Lewis lost his little brother, Jesse, who was only six years old when he was shot and killed at the horrific Sandy Hook massacre. Jesse died a hero, as it was documented that the little boy yelled “run” and nine of his classmates were able to escape.
JT Lewis has met both President Obama and President Trump and shared the story of his little brother. Now Lewis is a candidate for the Connecticut State Senate. He joined “Fox and Friends First” this morning and discussed Joe Biden’s inability to recollect details of the Sandy Hook and Parkland shootings. Lewis acknowledged that Biden has lost his own son and is “coming from a place of sympathy” but still had this to say:
I don’t think he’s lying intentionally…he seems like a very nice person, who does care. The problem is he is getting things mixed up and that’s not what you want to see in a frontrunner for president. Joe Biden wants to be the champion for gun control, a man whose been doing gun control his entire adult life, 35 years in the senate, Vice President for eight years, that’s not a champion.
