Canadian Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre gave yet another masterclass in dealing with the woke media’s absurd phrasing yesterday when asked about Donald Trump’s executive orders declaring that there are only two genders/sexes.
At any other point in history up until the past 15-or-so years it would be incomprehensible that such an executive order would even be necessary.
The order also directs federal agencies to cease promotion of the concept of gender transition, says they should use the term “sex” instead of “gender,” and must remove statements, policies, and communications that promote gender ideology. It also prevents transgender and whatever “nonbinary” people are from self-selecting their gender on official government documents (an option granted under the Biden administration).
Pierre Poilievre was asked by CP24 news host Phil Perkins "if elected as prime minister, is that something that you’re going to kind of walk in line with? Or what are your feelings on that executive order?"
"Well, I don’t know. Do you have any other genders that you’d like to name?" Poilievre asked, turning the question on the reporter.
Hilariously, the host didn’t want to answer the basic question he clearly knows the answer to, but fears blowback for answering. Instead he reiterated his question, "I’m just asking more so if you’re in line with what he is saying. Do you agree with what he’s saying? Is that something that you would be lockstep with if elected as prime minister?"
"Well, I’m not aware of any other genders than men and women. I mean, if you have any other that you want me to consider, you’re welcome to tell me right now,” Pierre replied.
"Well, there’s… well, there’s… Personally, I am a man," the host Perkins tried to explain, adding that some would refer to him as a “cis-man” (for those out of the loop, “cis-man” is wokespeak for “man”).
"Me, too. I am a man as well," Poilievre replied, adding, "We have something in common."
