The debate disaster wasn't a "one-off" for Joe Biden, Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein said in reportign the obvious, citing 15-20 instances in the past year and a half where Biden's behavior mirrored his disastrous debate performance.
There are also hundreds of millions of others who could've told them that.According to the Washington Free Beacon:
"The Joe Biden we saw [on Thursday]," Bernstein said in an interview with CNN Monday, "is not a one-off." Prominent donors and supporters have recalled "15 to 20 occasions in the last year and a half when the president has appeared somewhat as he did in that horror show."
Bernstein’s comments came minutes after the president made a last-minute statement on the recent Supreme Court decision regarding presidential immunity. His remarks lasted just four minutes, and he did not answer any questions from the press.
Of course, if it wasn’t for a disastrous debate performance, it’s unlikely that Berinstein would’ve ever come forward with this information. This is true of the rest of the media as well, which did all they could to pretend that Biden is there mentally - only to suddenly become “responsible journalists” and report on his mental state accurately once the entirety of the American public was able to see it for what it is at the debate.
