While serious questions remain as to how they had any viewers left to lose in the first place, CNN continued hemorrhaging its dwindling audience this month.
As Breitbart’s John Nolte reported:
Compared to March of last year, CNN lost 61 percent of primetime viewers and 73 percent of viewers in the 25-54 age group. That 25-54 age group is vital because it sets advertising rates.
Throughout the entire month of March, CNN averaged only 473,000 primetime viewers and 100,000 demo viewers.
Throughout the total day in March, CNN averaged only 425,000 total viewers and 83,000 demo viewers.
CNN’s top rated show, Anderson Cooper 360, averaged 635,000 total viewers, while Erin Burnett got 625,000. Meanwhile, Jake Tapper averaged 584,000 and Don Lemon’s morning show got only 346,000.
Overall, Fox News averaged four times as many viewers as CNN in primetime.
