Declassified Documents Show Osama bin Laden Wanted “Unprepared” Joe Biden to be President
We’ve known this since 2012, but it’s worth resurfacing this story in light of the election that we’re only months away from.
According to declassified documents from the late jihadists compound, Osama bin Laden wrote to one of his advisers: “Obama is the head of infidelity and killing him automatically will make Biden take over the presidency … Biden is totally unprepared for that post, which will lead the U.S. into a crisis.”
According to John Solomon’s Just the News, The documents laid out a plan to assassinate then-President Barack Obama and his top military commander, General David Petraeus. This, in turn, would have put Vice President Joe Biden into the Oval Office, who bin Laden apparently thought wasn’t a threat to him.
Bin Laden also said that Petraeus was “the man of the hour,” and that killing him would “alter the war’s path” in Afghanistan.
As Just the News reports:
The documents highlight the al-Qaeda leader’s continued focus on attacking Americans. To one of his deputies, he wrote that it was important to remain concentrated on “every effort that could be spent on attacks in America.” Bin Laden instructed regional leaders to “ask brothers in all regions if they have a brother … who can operate in the U.S.”
At the time, U.S. analysts and administration officials clarified that there was no evidence to suggest that any of the plots detailed had materialized, despite the disturbing content of bin Laden’s documents.
The piece also notes that “Biden’s own narrative on his position surrounding the strike that killed bin Laden has been shaky over the years,” and that Biden told Obama not to order the 2011 strike that led to bin Laden’s killing. But at other times, Biden said the exact opposite.
We can see from this, as well as saying that obvious US enemies such as China aren’t a threat, shows why Biden can’t be allowed anywhere near the White House come November.
Bin Laden could not be reached for comment.
