As the Trump Administration makes unprecedented progress in implementing their agenda, liberal priorities have focussed on reenacting 1960esque protests, and doubling down on crazy.

Earlier this week, Democrat Rep. Jan Schakowsky was inquiring to a witness about where there aren’t more women in manufacturing.

The reason is obvious to anyone that’s given the issue a few seconds of thought: because they don’t want to work those jobs, and there’s nothing more to it. No one except a leftist would ponder that the reason women don’t want to be brickmasons, HVAC workers, or garbage collectors are due to “discrimination,” “societal expectations,” or “gendered norms.”

But she’s in the latter category.

"Yesterday I met with a manufacturing company, but they also are engaged in getting young people more engaged in manufacturing," she said during a Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade subcommittee hearing entitled "AI in Manufacturing: Securing American Leadership in Manufacturing and the Next Generation of Technologies."

She then went on to argue that there are relatively fewer women in manufacturing because the word itself sounds too male.

See for yourself:

By Schakowsky’s own standards, her comments calling women “women,” were insensitive, because “women” has the word “men” in it.
