Democrat Rep. Provides Most Cringe Inducing Moment in History of Congress

In what can safely be deemed the most cringe inducing moment to come out of Congress in its 232 year history, Democrat Rep. Sean Casten took to the floor to sing a rendition of Fergie’s 2006 song “Fergilicious” with the lyrics changed to make it about the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, or FERC, amid a hot summer.

“I would like to continue our celebration of hot ferc summer” he began – and it was only downhill from there.

Amazingly, this level of cringe is likely to soon be topped by the ongoing January 6th committee hearings, which have thus far included Adam Schiff and Adam Kinzinger pretending to cry as they compete with Gov. Cuomo for the next Emmy.
