After countless stories in recent months about (exclusively Democrat) politicians being caught breaking their own coronavirus restrictions, Rep. Gwen Moore has just topped them all.

At least all those hypocrites before her had the excuse that they *probably* didn’t have the coronavirus while flouting their own restrictions. Moore was recently diagnosed – and then decided to travel to D.C. regardless and put others at risk.

On Sunday, Moore was on the House floor to vote for Nancy Pelosi for speaker, despite announcing a mere six days prior that she tested positive for coronavirus. Moore announced on December 28th on the coronavirus, and claimed on Sunday that she was cleared to travel.

The CDC recommends that those who have coronavirus symptoms quarantine for at least 10 days since symptoms first appeared. The recommended quarantine time is also ten days for those who test positive without symptoms. The doctor who cleared her certainly isn’t going by the “settled science” on the issue.

Moore told a reporter that she had followed CDC guidelines to quarantine for two weeks – a lie easily disproven by calculating the amount of time between December 28th and January 3rd.

Meanwhile, newly-elected Republican Congresswoman Maria Elvira Salazar couldn’t be present to vote on Sunday because she had tested for the coronavirus days prior, and decided not to put her colleagues needlessly at risk.

Fortunately for Moore, she is a Democrat, and will thus face no consequences for this reckless behavior whatsoever.
