Sen. Dick Durbin was confronted by reporter Hillary Vaughn over him blocking Sen. Marsha Blackburnâs attempt to subpoena Jeffrey Epsteinâs flight logs.
âSenator Durbin BLOCKED my request to subpoena Jeffrey Epsteinâs flight logs,â Blackburn tweeted. âWhat are Democrats trying to hide?â
On Capitol Hill, Vaughn asked Durbin âWhy wonât you subpoena Jeffrey Epsteinâs flight logs?â - to which he pretended to not know what they were and falsely claim that the issue was never presented to him.
âWell, he was charged with sex trafficking. So why donât you want to know who was utilizing his private plane?â Vaughn asked.
âItâs never been raised by anyoneâ Durbin replied.
After Vaughn asked âBut arenât you curious about which high profile or powerful people might be closeted predators and pedophiles? Doesnât that concern you? So why wonât you subpoena them if you can?â Durbin replied âitâs the first time anyone raised itâ and walked away.
Watch below:
To point out the obvious; Durbin clearly is aware exactly what subpoena Vaugnn is talking to, and itâs unclear why heâd think an issue being raised for the first time somehow invalidates it, as every issue that exists was once raised for the first time.
