Failed CNN host Don Lemon tried to corner Elon Musk on his now-canceled show on Twitter/X over the so-called “great replacement theory,” proving how little he knows in the process.

Lemon pretended to not understand how illegal aliens could possibly boost Democrats in elections because they can’t vote in them, completely ignoring the fact that illegals are counted in the Census, and thus states with more illegals as a share of their populations get more representation in Congress, and that Democrats are constantly calling for mass amnesty so they can vote.

Watch below:

In a great article in Newsweek, Pedro Gonzalez piled a number of examples of Democrats admitting that what they’re calling the “great replacement theory” was theorized by them. As always, the left’s narrative is “it’s not happening but it’s good that it is.”

To cite just a few (directly quoting Gonzalez):

  • Teixeira published The Emerging Democratic Majority in 2004. That book argued, in his words, that Democrats should exploit "economic and demographic changes, including the growth of minority communities and cultural shifts among college graduates." And simply put, the "growth" of those communities has been due to policies that have facilitated mass migration. (It is worth also noting that Teixeira has said Democratic activists "bowdleriz[ed]" his thesis as part of their efforts to coalition-build on "identity politics.")
  • In 2013, Politico concluded that amnesty for millions of illegal aliens "would produce an electoral bonanza for Democrats and cripple Republican prospects in many states they now win easily." The following year, James G. Gimpel, a professor of government at the University of Maryland, College Park, published a study that found the "flow of legal immigrants into the country—29.5 million from 1980 to 2012—has remade and continues to remake the nation's electorate in favor of the Democratic Party."
  • A comprehensive report by the American Enterprise Institute, the Brookings Institution and the Center for American Progress came to a similar conclusion in 2016: In the long run, demography favors the Democrats. And in 2018, CNN host Michael Smerconish discussed with demographer Rogelio Saenz, over a chyron that read, "THE VANISHING WHITE AMERICAN," that demographic trends connected to immigration spell doom for the GOP.

To reference just a few other examples, after the 2012 election Reuters can the headline “Obama win shows demographic shifts working against Republicans.”

In 2020, Politico ran an article opening with the line “For years, the Democratic Party has operated under one immutable assumption: Long-term demographic trends would give the party something like a permanent majority as the country as a whole grows less white and more urban.”

Meanwhile, former Democrat San Antonio Mayor and Obama Cabinet member Julian Castro once commented that “in a couple of presidential cycles, you'll be -- on Election Night, you'll be announcing that we're calling the 38 electoral votes of Texas for the Democratic nominee for president. It's changing. It's going to become a purple state and then a blue state because of the demographics, because of the population growth of folks from outside of Texas.”

But if you notice exactly what they’re telling you, you’re the “conspiracy theory,” apparently.
