On Thursday, Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) told Fox & Friends that Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden’s statement against the ongoing riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin is “too little too late.”
Stefanik said that “[I]t’s too little too late, he has been silent for two and a half months. But they are now talking about this because they know that as voters are watching their TV screens and are concerned about the safety and security in their community. This is going to become one of the key deciding issues as people head to the polls this November.”
Biden gave a statement Wednesday on Twitter condemning the riots, which was relatively tepid and still apparently accepted the Leftist premise of systemic racism and police brutality in America.
Once again, a Black man — Jacob Blake — was shot by the police. In front of his children. It makes me sick.
Is this the country we want to be?
Needless violence won’t heal us. We need to end the violence — and peacefully come together to demand justice. pic.twitter.com/WdNqrxA3PK

It’s obvious why Biden and other Democrats are finally speaking out against riots after almost three months of looting, arson and assault throughout the nation’s cities. The polling has turned against the Left on this issue, as it should have a long time ago. And it’s shameful that all they think about is how this affects them politically.
But it is still unsurprising, since all the Left cares about is growing its own power.
