The media is cautioning against the irresponsible and dangerous lifting of mask mandates while also supporting the common sense lifting of mask mandates due to the changing science – it just matters who is doing the lifting.
The Washington Free Beacon compared how the mainstream media reacted to Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin’s executive order banning mask mandates in schools during his first week in office to how they’re reacting to a number of blue states (starting with New Jersey) announcing similar actions, which apparently is now due to “the science.” Presumably, following “the science” means following focus group results and reading internal polling ahead of midterms.
