Karine Jean-Pierre took over as press secretary on May 13th, and since then, nearly every major fact checking organization has completely ignored her false statements.
According to Fox News:
Since starting her position, Jean Pierre has received no fact-checks from Factcheck.org, Reuters, The Associated Press, The Washington Post’s Glenn Kessler, and CNN’s Daniel Dale, according to a review by Fox News Digital.
Snopes and PolitiFact stood alone in their sparse fact-checking regarding the new White House press secretary. PolitiFact has fact-checked Jean-Pierre twice, awarding her two "false" ratings, while Snopes fact-checked a claim about a past comment by her.

The two statements from KJP that PolitiFact did fact check were her false statements that 20 million people were on unemployment when Biden took office, and that overturning Roe v. Wade was unconstitutional.
Among the false statements they missed included:
- KJP claiming that nobody is "just walking in" across the southern border
- KJP claiming there was 0% inflation in July
- KJP's denial that she publicly stated the 2016 election was stolen
- KJP blaming inflation on Vladimir Putin, or claiming that it would be transitory
- KJP denying that Biden's stimulus bill fueled rising inflation
- KJP falsely claiming that Biden had condemned the attempted assasination of Brett Kavanaugh
- KJP's denial about critical race theory being taught in schools
This is hardly out of character for the fact checkers when it comes to the Biden administration.
In addition to trying to explain away every gaffe that Joe Biden makes, PolitiFact has made a habit of ignoring Vice President Kamala Harris' statements.
After VP Harris made a particularly egregious lie in a February 2021 Axios interview, that the Biden administration had to “start from scratch” on COVID vaccine distribution, the Federalist’s Tristan Justice reached out to ask why PolitiFact hadn’t written anything on the claim. PolitiFact’s Editor in Chief Angie Holan said that the claim wasn’t fact checked because White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain made the same false statement in January, which was rated “mostly false.” While PolitiFact often publishes "repeat" fact checks where similar claims are evaluated, this time someone else making a false claim was used as the excuse to not fact check VP Harris when she made it. At the time of that Axios interview, PolitiFact hadn’t published a single fact check of Harris since September 2020, over a month before the election. The last time PolitiFact fact checked VP Harris was over a year ago, in July 2021.
